Book One of Elei's Chronicles
My Teaser for this week:
Biting back a retort, Elei took a deep breath and twisted from the knees, turning against the blade, cursing as pain exploded in his wounded side. The knife screeched against the hard skin covering his shoulder blade and upper back.

Ouch! Those lines were intense. Mine come from Regency Romance, Blood for Ink, by L.L. Muir:
"You tempt me to be just as you have painted me. Pray, bring a switch and meet me in Hyde Park Sunday afternoon, if you dare. - Mr. Lott"
In context, this part of the book made me laugh out loud!
Ouch! I could almost FEEL that! Thanks for sharing...and here's MY TUESDAY MEMES POST
Ooooo... I liked that excerpt! Totally fits the "teaser" title! I'm reading Save The Cat right now, so that wouldn't be much of a teaser excerpt, LOL!
