Immortal Dreams
From time travel, to witches and vampires, to forgotten goddesses, this anthology has it all with these three novels.
Book 1 - Blood's Fury (Deadly Beauties #1)
The world is laid out in black in white through the eyes of Alyssa Coldwell, until she stumbles into the gray area she naively refused to believe existed. Between love she never thought she'd find and the dangers of the world she can't accept, hope almost becomes a fantasy.
REVIEW:
Alyssa Coldwell, the MC in Immortal Dreams by Chrissy Peebles and CM Owens is a witch, she wants a life. A life of her own, without her mother, a very powerful witch, hovering over her every move.
Alyssa has been a target for the night stalkers since her birth and has been hidden from the world for her own safety.
She convinces her mother to allow her to move into her own house and to begin a life of her own.
Believing the protection spells cast on the house will keep her safe, she meets Kane, whom she believes is a 'normal', but he is not what he seems.
This book by Chrissy Peebles and CM Owens is in three parts and is quite an entertaining read. The twist in the story will keep readers guessing and when Alyssa calls upon her father for help, all hell breaks loose.

Immortals And Melodies
(Blood And Guitars #2)
I’m no stranger to
chaos, but even the life of a rock star couldn’t prepare me for the
consequences of loving a vampire. I’m risking more than my career to be
with Aurora. My life is in danger, threatened by the very group I must
join to stay alive. –Trey
I have to keep Trey alive until I can make him a vampire, but my own kind will stop at nothing to prevent it. The Emissary is having me followed, and if I can’t figure out who is behind the violent attacks Trey won’t make it to the full moon. Am I even powerful enough to carry Trey through the change, or will he be left floating in the wake of destruction? –Aurora
REVIEW:
In this second book of Blood and Guitars, titled Immortals and Melodies by Heather Jensen, Aurora has changed Trey into a vampire and the Emissary (the ruling elders of vampires) are not happy.
Members of Trey's band are being attacked and killed and Aurora is having to ensure their safety. She is unsure of who she can trust to help her keep Trey alive until the next full moon, when his transformation will be complete.
This sequel continues the love story of two soul mates who join together in a world of vampire control. The problem is Trey is a well known musician and The Emissary don't like his popularity shedding light on their kind and to stop the secret of vampires living among humans, they want Trey dead.
Both main characters are well created and quite believable and Heather Jensen seems to have a broad knowledge of the music industry making the story quite real. If you enjoyed the first installment of Blood and Guitars I am sure you would enjoy book two.
Immoral: Tales of a Vampire Hunter (Tales of a Vampire Hunter #1)
Immoral is the first book in the Tales of a Vampire Hunter
series—richly imagined, sexy, paranormal romance thrillers filled with
heartbreaking betrayals, stunning consequences, and unexpected romance.
Star-crossed lovers threatened by dangerous secrets . . . but no secret stays hidden forever.
REVIEW:
Oliver Ripley is a Vampire Hunter and so are the rest of his famly, but to kill vampires these hunters don't uste stakes, garlic or holy water, no the kill vampires during a good old romp in the hay, where their soul does battle with the vamp's.
When Oliver meets Miranda, he feels drawn to her, as if he was meant to be with her, the only thing is she is a vampire, born into the ruling house of Vladulas.
He knows he can't have a normal relationship with Miranda without killing her, but still he can't stop himself from seeing with her.
This very unusual storyline in Immoral Tales of a Vampire Hunter, by Zander Vyne is quite engaging and although the story's core revolves around sex, it is not a sexually explicit tale and would suit a New Adult audience.
Immortal Blood (Immortal Heart #1)
A perfect night on
the town turns out to be her worst nightmare. A date with a handsome man
is the catalyst for events that she thought only happened in fairy
tales. Thrust into a world of danger, Isabelle has no idea what is in
store for her as the Light and Dark Fae fight over her future.
Isabelle Moreno is a young woman working her way through life, finding little time for love and adventure. Until she agrees to a date with a mysterious stranger, only to find out the secrets this man holds are something she could have lived her entire life without knowing. The Dark Fae Luck Eater has found something enticing in Isabelle’s humanity.
Bain is an arrogant playboy and an Immortal Light Fae Warrior. He and his four brothers fight for the safety of the human race while remaining something of myth. After weeks of tracking the Dark Fae Luck Eater, Bain comes across yet another victim, Isabelle.
Bain has finally found his match in this feisty human as she fights against him and her ever growing attraction to the Immortal who is bound to protect her.
REVIEW:
Isabelle is pressed into a blind date by her sister and is quickly swept up in Zander's charms. The only problem is he is a luck eater.
She is saved by two Immortal Fae who are part of a team of immortal warriors who protect humans from the evils of the Fae world.
This intriguing love story by Magen McMinimy is a light read and quite entertaining and readers will fall in love with the characters, especially the Immortal Warriors. One in particular called Bain.
The Initiate (Rifters #2)
A junction erupts between the worlds in Settler, Oregon, a rift from which horrors attack our world. The Rifters defend us.
To trust unquestioningly is the first lesson Daelin Long must learn as the newest Initiate of the Rifters. Her first day is a disaster. She stands on a deserted street in a town smaller than a city district, courting killer rocks from another world with her ancestor from the Revolutionary War. Normal no longer exists.
While she struggles, Earl Blacke grapples with atoning for his past ill deeds, running far and fast from Settler, Oregon. The Shaman of the Desert promises him redemption, and an old Tmine puts the possibility of a gold strike in his grasp. His luck has changed for the better, but he can’t have both.
You're never a hero until you are.
REVIEW:
The second book in M. Pax's Steam Punk series The Rifters, answers some of the questions the MC, Daelin Long wants to find the answers to. She is initiated into the Rifters and is given her own tattoo and device to track the rift. Although Daelin is not given many instructions about how to use the technology before the town of Settler is attacked and sent into chaos.
Meanwhile Earl Blacke is on a trek to discover his own path, leaving behind the township of Settler he ventures into the desert and meets up with a very strange lady who helps him to discover a way to help the problems caused by the dimensional visitors.
M. Pax presents an entertaining story from start to finish and the reader will be left wanting to learn more.
