WORLD OF AIDENSDEIN FROM -
Cleo is a waitress, who works with the lead character, Jasmine,in a small restaurant, where one group of vampires watch Jasmine, waiting for something or someone, but I cannont tell you what or who!
Why would they be in a restaurant, you ask?
Well they do need to eat, yes they are able to consume all foods which are red! They just love red wine! Ha ha!
Getting off the track here, Cloe is not really a friend to Jasmine, more of a working collegue and only appears throughout the story from time to time. But, all characters are of importance to every story!
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
So keeping to the scene of the
A - Z Challenge
I have decided to select a teaser from a book
starting with the letter
'C'Since I recently finished reading CassaStar
written by one of our
A - Z Challenge hosts
Alex J. Cavanaugh
I have decided to select this book for my 'Teaser' this week:
A faint voice echoed in his head, penetrating the darkness.
I'm here because I care about a young man named Byron.
I love you, little brother. Byron, pull up! Byron!
Byron, pull up! Byron!
Gasping for breath, he opened his eyes. The darkness remained, though. Blinking to adjust his vision, Byron struggled to focus on his surroundings.
Cavanaugh, Alex J. (2010-10-04). CassaStar (Kindle Locations 4098-4099). Dancing Lemur Press LLC. Kindle Edition.
Although this is more than two sentences, I believe the piece needed to be shown in full!
Hope you liked it!
