Congratulations to Michelle Wallace, L. Diane Wolfe, Lynda R Young, Susan Gourley/Kelley, Joylene Nowell Butler, J.L. Campbell
and of course the original founder Alex J. Cavanaugh, for the one year anniversary and continued success of IWSG.
I have submitted an entry to the anthology as I am sure most of you have. My entry is approx 750 words and I have emailed it to Alex as directed above. But, I am posting a shorter version of the submission for this months IWSG.
Hope you find a couple of helpful hints!
Cheers,
Carolyn

My tips are divided into the five “E’s”
Editing
Easy
Endless
Exposure
Enjoyable
The
creative aspect of writing, is the most enjoyable part of creating a book.
Letting the imagination flow and take you on unexpected journeys is a fantastic
experience. At this point, take time out
to make contacts and blogger buddies, they will be very important when your
work is done.
Editing
This
stage can be tedious, but really is the most crucial. A well edited book, can
make or break a story.
Easy
Endless
Marketing, it never, never ends.
Platforms like Twitter and Facebook are essential to
advertise and build an audience. Make sure you connect whatever platforms you
use to your main blog. This saves you time in the long run with every blog post
being uploaded automatically to the platform.
To use an old cliché:
Make sure you do for others, what you expect others to do for you!
Exposure
Be sure to expose your writing across as many networks and
platforms as you can manage. It is time consuming and hard work, but the
rewards speak for themselves. You gain followers, friends and associates and
hopefully sell books!

Easy to remember!
Thanks for contributing to the book - you rock!
Thanks for sharing your list of writing E's with us. I am sure your submission to the anthology will be a great read and I look forward to seeing it in full there.
Great to visit today as co-host of IWSG.
Marketing is endless, but it can be exciting if you approach it with the right attitude.
At first, I thought you had enjoyable twice because there was no space. LOL! Thanks for the tips.
You have to enjoy yourself while you write. That is key! And marketing really never ends.
Great post! (I'm a new follower.) :D
