I know my TT last week was from the first book in this series by M. Pax, and as she has just released book two,
I thought that I would introduce the second book this week -
Here is my Tuesday Teaser from
Stopover at the Backworld's Edge
Craze examined her more carefully. Slits in her neck expanded then disappeared. Gills. A Water-breather? Supposed to be extinct, shit, they were the worst kind of Backworlder, if the rumors were true. They’d turn on anything if the advantage shifted right, cracking through their own children’s chests to steal their hearts if that would keep them alive longer. So the stories went. And what were those creepy shadowy things with her? A chill crept over Craze’s shoulders, souring his stomach, especially at the way she preened as if she had a right to take up space at his bar.
Pax, M.. Stopover at the Backworlds' Edge (Kindle Locations 262-266). M. Pax. Kindle Edition.

I know this is a little big for a TT, but I really liked this paragraph!
Stopover
at the
Backworlds' Edge
The sequel to The Backworlds is now
available. Craze and his friends continue their adventures in Stopover at the Backworlds’ Edge. See what role chocolate plays in the galaxy this time.
The interstellar portal opens, bringing in a ship that should no longer exist. A battleship spoiling for a fight, yet the war with Earth ended two generations ago. The vessel drops off a Water-breather, a type of Backworlder thought to be extinct. She claims one of Craze’s friends is a traitor who summoned the enemy to Pardeep Station. A betrayal worse than his father’s, if Craze lives to worry about it.
If you haven’t read The
Backworlds yet, it’s available as a free read from many outlets. See HERE for
links.
Inspiring the words M. Pax writes, Mary
spends her summers as a star guide at Pine Mountain Observatory in stunning
Central Oregon where she lives with the husband unit and two loving cats. She
write science fiction mostly and has a slight obsession with Jane Austen. Mary

Nice teaser!
Here's my tease from The Weird Sisters.
The Backworlds was great and I have the next book on my iPad!
It was a great tease, and I am sure Mary is tickled to have you do it from her book! Thanks for the nice words on my blog, Roland
Sometimes you really need more than two sentences to do one of these teasers. I just roll with it.
So, does she have a right to be at the bar? Great teaser.
Wow! I really enjoyed the teaser... the voice is distinct and it's clear the world-building is really fun. Thanks for sharing, C.M.!
Thanks, CM. Hope you're enjoying it. Happy Tuesday :)

Sounds very sci-fi-ish!
Loved the teaser....!!
My tuesday teaser is from Cuts Like A Knife by M.K. Gilroy
Once again... very interesting.
Between M. Pax and the Ninja Captain, I'm destined to become a sci-fi convert (that is, after I get my hands on their books... one of these days... wait and see...)LOL!
What a cool idea!
Intersting!
Thanks for stopping by V.
I am still reading The Backworlds, just haven't had much time lately for reading, will get back to it soon, but I am looking forward to reading both books.
Your welcome Roland, but what you posted definitely made sense, we all need to help one another, especially those who do seem to get left behind, for one reason or another!
Hmm, I think she will be important as the story progresses. Thanks for stopping by!
Yes, I think Mary has done a great job!

Yes, so have I.
Angela, actually it is there a couple of times, but it a very unusual name - "Craze" so you possibly read over it without picking it up!
Thanks Demitra and amp;amp and Anastasia. Welcome to my Blog.
