Well how did I go with my goals for July?

  1. I know I will finish writing in the next week, while I am on a break from my day job!
  • Yes, just editing to go!!!
    2.  Continue editing.
  • On going.
    3.  Take on and follow the advice of Ali Cross (I was lucky enough to win branding
advice from her in a competition she held on her blog last month)
  •  Have done this and have already noticed the difference. So glad I took her advice.
    4.  I have also committed to a few different blog hops during next month, so I will try to
get through the lists of bloggers involved in those.
  •  Met lots of new bloggers through the Hops and did my best to be involved with the time I had.
     5.  Hopefully, reveal the cover art for my second book in the Protector Series
(negotiating with my illustrator at present - she is heavily committed with Uni
projects, but has been working on the cover! It looks really good so far!

  • Well the cover art is ready and I have decided to add a Blog Hop as well to help with the book launch in October.  If you would like to help, add your name to the Blog Hop list in the previous post, just click on this link  - "He Came For Mine" Book Two in The Protector Series!

 My Goals For August

You've accomplished a bunch! Congratulations. Author branding is so important. You're blog also looks amazing. Good luck with August.

My goals are the same as yours except instead of submitting to Friday Flash, I need to write some new words. Good luck!

I'm working on revising my novel for a 4th time, just to straighten out the plot kinks. Good luck with your writing goals:)

Sounds like you had a very productive month! I am both impressed and jealous. Good luck with August's goals.

They keep me on track, otherwise I tend to get lazy!

I am in the middle of a vacation, but I just pulled out my WIP, which I haven't looked at in a while, so it will be with fresh eyes. I am looking forward to doing some serious editing. And FIGURING out FINALLY how to connect the middle to the end. Keep in mind, that I wrote this book before I understood that you absolutely MUST write The End FIRST. When I found that out I was devastated. I moped for a week and then knuckled down and did it. But, I could never figure out how to connect the puzzle. I am hoping that fresh eyes on this WIP will give me a whole new perspective. I really loved the premise and am not ready to just ditch it. The book is actually close to being done (short of editing, editing, editing, chopping, and rearranging, etc.). But you know what I mean...
