Are You Writing Now?

Are You Writing Now? Host Patricia Lynne

http://plbjourney.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/are-you-writing-now-april-goals.html

This has been organised by Patricia to help writer's set personal goals.

As this is my first time joining this group, I have no experience to assist with any clarification, but from my understanding participants list their goals for the month on their Blog and at the end of the month post an explanation regarding the goals, whether they were achieved or not?

Sounds like I need this, as I do get distracted easily!

Here are my goals for the month of April:

  1. Finish the second draft of my WIP for my second book.
  2. From the inspiration of writing the Flash Fiction on 'Slater' for Rachel Harris's Platform Challenge, I have started designing a story around it, so I hope to complete more of this.
  3. A - Z Challenge Posts
  4. Edit my WIP

Here is the list participating in this Monthly Challenge to date, why don't you join us!

1. Patricia Lynne 6. Traci Kenworth
2. Marie Landry 7. Travis Cottreau
3. Lor Rose 8. Kathy Coleman
4. Gwen Tolios 9. C.M. Brown
5. Hywelalyn

I THINK THAT I SHOULD TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO LET OUT WHAT I WILL BE BLOGGING ABOUT FOR THE A - Z CHALLENGE

For the Challenge I will be creating a short continuous spy story, full of intrigue, well as much as you can without the small additional words we use in every day language, which join our sentences together to give meaning! Ha ha!

The challenge I have made for myself, is to use the letters of the whole alphabet each day, rotating the beginning letter of the first word through to the last word, using the whole alphabet, following the daily A-Z Challenge calendar!
At the end of the challenge I will post an explanation of the events in my strange story, for those who find it difficult to follow!

I must also add - please do not take offence at any of the words used in this story they have no underlying discriminatory undertones, the piece is completely fictional and not intended to offend. It is hard to use every letter in the alphabet to create something that makes some sense without using these terms!

I have also decided to write a short passage each day, explaining the world of Aidensdein and the characters from The Protector Series. I hope they amuse and inspire!

IT WON'T BE LONG NOW BEFORE THE COUNTDOWN
FINISHES AND THE BLOGGING BEGINS!

Welcome aboard AYWN! And yep, you got right. Post your goals for the next month, and recap how you did the previous one. Plus, ideally we try to act as cheerleaders for each other.

Good luck with your goals for April.

Your challenge posts sound like an interesting idea, I look forward to seeing how it plays out.

Awesome goals! I too feel your pain of the #AtoZchallenge. We might all need to have a good stiff drink when this is all over...
