WRITER'S FOR WRITER'S (#W4Ws)

Stephen Tremp  Christine Rains

M.Pax and (myself), C. M. Brown

Writers helping other writers to succeed.
Twitter hashtag: #W4WS
Find us on Facebook

An initiative to promote writers and their books (that’s you)!

Our Mission:

• Help writers bring awareness of their book(s) to tens of thousands of new people

• Help writers reach Amazon Top 100 in at least one category (i.e., suspense, free, etc.)

• Increase sales of their book(s) after the promo is over

• Drive new traffic to their blog and increase following

• Create verbal and viral buzz.

W4W's is held the third Monday each month!

How it Works: The spotlighted author will choose a social media avenue, such as Twitter or Facebook (or both). Then, the good people of Blogdom will promote the author’s book to their Twitter followers or Facebook friends, that is, incredibly large new audiences the author could not reach on their own.
Facebook: The writer posts an image of their book along with a short blurb and a link to Kindle on their blog. Visitors simply click the Facebook page, then share the link with their FB friends. https://www.facebook.com/Writers4Writers
Twitter: The author posts pre-written Tweets on his/her blog. At your convenience, simply copy and paste Tweets into Twitter. Or go to #W4WS on Twitter and Retweet.
To sign up, join the Linky List HERE!

This month our selected authors are:

Carrie Butler and C. Lee McKenzie

INSECURE WRITER'S SUPPORT GROUP

IT IS TIME FOR

INSECURE WRITER'S SUPPORT GROUP
To find out more about this group,

(The Ninja Captain)

In the last few days, I was contacted by a co-worker from my past. It was great to have a chat and catch up. After a little conversation the subject of me having written a book was brought up. From word of mouth, she knew that I had written a book and expressed her excitement at my accomplishment, which was very nice to receive. Of course I brought her up to date, telling her I had actually written and published two. She was very pleased and called me a dark horse, keeping this side of myself a secret.

Before our conversation was finished, she had all the information she needed to find my web site and how to purchase a copy of the books from the web. I was feeling quite proud and happy that she had taken an interest in pursuing my pieces of work.

Afterwards, I found myself feeling somewhat insecure about someone I had known very well in the past reading my books. A number of questions surfaced in my mind which made me feel vulnerable. Would she like them? Would she see me differently, after reading them?  What would her reaction be to the content inside? Next time I catch up with her, would she treat me differently, after another facet of my personality is revealed to her?

Writing and publishing is in itself a great achievement, and I should be shouting it out to the world, but instead I feel vulnerable when people who know me read my work. I much prefer to keep this side of myself secretive from the people I have close contact with.

This month, I am asking my fellow writer's to help me overcome this insecurity, by sharing similar feelings and to let me know if any of you out there feel the same way. Have you ever found yourself thinking thoughts like mine?

Cursed

(The Devil's Roses #1)

Blurb:

One tragic event can change everything in a life.
It can change the way we see the world around us.
Sometimes it can change the worlds we see.
Worlds we didn’t know existed.

When she slips into the In-Between for a few seconds she sees him.
He's more beautiful than anything she has ever seen before.
She's drawn to him in a way she's can't explain.

Between the popular girls being poisoned and loves first kiss,
she hardly has time to chase down a mystery man.

As the poison that sent her to the In-Between wreaks havoc on her body,
the man she met there is equally damaging on her heart.

Discover how it all started, how it all unfolded

The first time!!!

TEASERS:

The warmth in my hand proved he was there, until he wasn’t. He was gone. I clenched my hand. My palm was still warm from touching him. I looked around the room. He wasn't there. Had he really been there? I heard footsteps. My insides clenched until I saw it was Blake walking through the doorway. His face was a mask of shame. I hoped he would wear it for a while, even if I was grateful it was him.

He crept around the bushes a bit longer and then he stopped moving. I couldn’t see or hear him. I knew what he was doing, he was sitting somewhere like me. He was trying to wait me out. But I was the girl who sat on the concrete for hours on end. It was not a game he would win.
