This is not Zane’s idea of the perfect dog. It’s shaggy, smells undead and bites people. And why does its victims all turn sluggish and keep asking for brains?
Can Zane can find the solution to save his neighbourhood from a zombie plague?
On Zane's 14th birthday he has to bury his birthday present...a pet dog. When his mum comes into his bedroom the next morning she notices a disturbing smell.
Zane finds the dog (unnamed) is somehow alive and hiding under his bed he tries to do something about the offending odour. After many shampoos and bottles of his mums favourite perfumes the smell doesn't get much better.
This comical zombie tale by Charmaine Clancy is a fun, light hearted red and would amuse a young audience and adults who are young at heart.
One decision will mark him and his twin sister Mira equally. She is in love with a man bearing the water mark and wants Xander to follow the path of the good. But Xander loves a black witch, a minion of the underworld. All he has to do to join her forever is kill.
After all, there's something good about being bad.
Xander and Mirra are brother and sister and they have a choice to make... to choose the side of good or evil
Unfortunately, other forces are at play to persuade them both to dedie to follow evils path.
This lustful novel by Marta Szemik is quite clever and the character Xander will be loved by all the lady readers.
It is quite an interesting story and is a little different than the norm. It is well written and is quite a engaging story.
After her parents and sister are abducted by the Enforcers, seventeen-year-old Adele, a member of the middle-class moon dwellers, is unjustly sentenced to life in prison for her parents' crimes of treason.
Against all odds, Adele must escape from the Pen and find her family, while being hunted by a deranged, killing machine named Rivet, who works for the President. She is helped by two other inmates, Tawni and Cole, each of whom have dark secrets that are better left undiscovered. Other than her friends, the only thing she has going for her is a wicked roundhouse kick and two fists that have been well-trained for combat by her father.
At the other end of the social spectrum is Tristan, the son of the President and a sun dweller. His mother is gone. He hates his father. Backed by only his servant and best friend, Roc, he leaves his lavish lifestyle in the Sun Realm, seeking to make something good out of his troubled life.
When a war breaks out within the Tri-Realms, Tristan is thrust into the middle of a conflict that seems to mysteriously follow Adele as she seeks to find her family and uncover her parents true past.
In their world, someone must die.
This sci-fi dystopian novel is set in a future world where a meteor has destroyed the Earth. Mankind have taken to living underground to survive. Laws have ben revised and society now exists in three tiers. The Moon Dwellers being the closest to the surface and being the ruling power.
David Estes has developed an interest plot which revolves around the fight to survive and a struggle to defeat an oppressive rule.
Mixed with a star crossed romance taking on the main focus of the story and I am sure readers will enjoy the read from beginning to end.
Lust can become love.
And love can turn into a deadly obsession.***
Skye Sullivan knows that someone is watching her. Not just watching - stalking her. Months ago, Skye was involved in a dangerous car accident. The accident ended her dancing career and sent her fleeing back to Chicago. Skye is convinced that her stalker caused the crash, and she fears that he won’t stop pursuing her, not until she’s dead.
When someone breaks into her apartment in Chicago, Skye turns to the one man she believes can protect her - Trace Weston. Once, Trace was her lover. Two lost souls, they’d come together in a firestorm of need and desire. But then Trace had pushed her away. He’d joined the military, vanishing from her life. She’d put all of her emotion into dancing, and she’d tried to forget him.
Now Trace is one of the most successful men in the United States. Rich, driven, and carrying dark secrets, he agrees to help Skye. He’ll protect her from the danger that lurks in the darkness, but Trace wants more than to just be a guard for Skye.
He wants her. And he’ll take her. The years have changed him, hardened him. He’s not just a poor kid from the streets any longer. Now, he can have anything - or anyone - that he wants. And the one woman he has always wanted has just come back into his life. He won’t let her go again.
But with the threats mounting against Skye, she suspects that her stalker may be intimately close. He’s a man who knows her too well. As his attacks grow ever more dangerous, she realizes that if she trusts the wrong man, she could be making a fatal mistake.
Lust. Love. Obsession.
Just how far would you go in order to possess the one person you want the most?
Born mortal along with his three brothers, Michael is an Archangel with a specific role–to hunt fallen angels and send them back to Hell. He is determined in his mission, never straying from his appointed path, until he meets Lake Divine, and discovers there may be more to his beliefs than blind duty.
But Lake is not who he seems. Offspring of a human and a fallen angel, a Nephilim, Lake must choose his own destiny–give in to the coldness and embrace the dark, or seek the light and rise above the sins of his father.
Two paths lay before them, but only one has the potential to destroy them both.
REVIEW:
In this adult tale by Patricia Josephine, Archangel Micheal finds love in a place he would never have thought possible. He fights an inner turmoil to decide which path to take when he finally relizes he is in love.
This novella by Patricia Josephine may offend some readers, but if one keeps an open mind and reads the story for what it is...a simple story, I am sure it would interest many.
Taking on Micheal's choice to follow his heart may also raise some eyebrows, but in this modern era where ones sexuality can be explored it is a story with deep meaning.

I read Marked when it first came out, and Marta was one of the first bloggers I had regular contact with. I was thinking about her only the other day, she doesn't blog very much anymore, sadly.
