Heavenly

(Heavenly #1)

I met someone who changed everything. Matthias. My autistic sister's guardian angel. Honest. Inspiring. Funny. Hot. And immortal. That was the problem. What could I do? I did what any other girl would do-I fell in love with him. Zoe's sister darts in front of cars. Her brother's a pothead. Her parents are so overwhelmed; they don't see Zoe lost in her broken life. Zoe escapes the only way she knows how: partying. Matthias, a guardian sent from Heaven, watches over Zoe's autistic sister. After Zoe is convinced he's legit, angel and lost girl come together in a love that changes destiny. But Heaven on Earth can't last forever.

MY TEASERS:

I stepped back again, even though I knew I couldn’t outrun him. He was lean under those caressing clothes, and he wasn’t that much older than me. He’d have us both in a second, and then he’d let Abria go while he did whatever he’d come to do. I squeezed her against me.

A thread sizzled through my body. Whoever he was, he had spunk. I liked that. I stopped inches away from him and looked up into his smiling face. A soft breeze lifted his toffee-colored waves, showing off flawless, smooth skin, except for a light scar above his left brow which I hadn’t noticed before.

  4. Ooh, intriguing. I like the way deeper details - like that scar - are slowly revealed.
