Top Ten Movie Countdown Blogfest

List your top ten favorite movies!
hosted by
I have always had a soft spot for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
I don't think I would be able to honestly tell you how many times I have watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show...another of my favourites.
As I have shown previously on this blog I am a big fan of Resident Evil!
I would be lying if I didn't include Dirty Dancing. How could one not be titillated by Patrick Swayze? I just loved watching this movie when I was young.
A Star Trek Movie certainly needs to be included and my choice would be The Future Begins !
My choice of Vampire flick would have to be Underworld, but it only just beats Blade by a hairs breath.
I think of films I could watch over and over again... your list is strong outside the girlie films... :)

Ha! I new Resident Evil would be on here! (: The Rocky Horror Picture Show is another good one too.
ReplyDeleteI admit, Dirty Dancing is a guilty pleasure of mine.
ReplyDeleteUnderworld rocks! RE films are hit or miss, but overall I like the franchise. ;)
Underworld is a brilliant film, I love number 2 as well, but not so fond of 3 and 4!
ReplyDeleteI do like your list, lost of kick ass movies on there.
My friends are astounded that I've never seen Dirty Dancing or Pretty Woman.
ReplyDeleteGreat list though.
I am sorry... you had a great balance of light and dark films... you get the gold star!!
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for Pretty Woman too. Every time I come across it on cable, I have to stop and watch.
ReplyDeleteI just smacked my forehead for forgetting Dirty Dancing! I can't believe I missed that!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices!
Definitely some good choices in this list!
ReplyDeleteAwesome choices! I played Janet in RHPS waaaay back in university.

I remember seeing fans of the Rocky Horror show waiting to get in - all in costume. It's a cult thing. . .but a fun cult.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting list!
Resident Evil- great choice! We love Alice!
ReplyDeleteSeen them all, loved them all! awesome list!
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I have never seen a Resident Evil movie. I should check one out. Great list.
ReplyDeletePretty Woman. That's a good movie. I want to see all the Resident Evil movies. I've only seen the first. I might have to have a little marathon someday soon!
ReplyDeleteDidn't know there were so many Resident Evil films! My wife is a massive Blade fan, so I'm on pretty intimate terms with the whole series. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Resident Evil but I never tire of watching Dirty Dancing.
ReplyDeleteI love the new direction Star Trek is taking. Looking forward to Into Darkness. Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteLove Dirty Dancing and the new Star Trek movies.
ReplyDeleteI've actually never seen Resident Evil. I was never a Star Trek fan, but I'm looking forward to the new Star Trek!

I was really close to choosing Dirty Dancing for my top 10! Love that one. And Rocky Horror is so very classic, but for some odd reason it never occurred to me to put it in my top 10! I have both those films on DVD :) I also have the Resident Evil films but haven't watched all of them yet.
ReplyDeleteVery cool picks! Rocky Horror- Yes! :)
ReplyDeleteWould you believe I've still never seen Dirty Dancing?!
ReplyDeleteDirty Dancing's pretty danged romantical. :-)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the first Resident Evil Movie, but the sequels I couldn't watch. They just didn't have that edge the first one had. Clearly, not a die hard, haha. I do love the reboot of the Star Trek films, I thought the first one (so far) was brilliant.
ReplyDeletePretty Women - I completely forgot about this movie - might not be in my top 10 but it is really good I have seen in soooooo many times.
