The question this week - What's your most memorable holiday gift? (present)
I have left this post a little late this week, too many other things have gotten in the way!
So, I am apologizing for my lateness!
The best ever present I have received for Christmas would have to be my push peddle car, when I was a little girl. It was a vibrant blue colour and so very modern! I had such a fun time driving down the road of my parents house, (we lived in a dead end), so it was possible to drive on the road without getting into too much trouble. I was the envy of every kid in the neighbourhood!
Did you charge the other kids for rides in your car?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I was not that way inclined. I could have made a few quid!
ReplyDeleteWow, C.W., thank you! I'm most appreciative! And you've got two great blogs. Happy you found me. But I can't find where to follow you. Help! kittiehoward@gmail.com Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI bet all the little boys wanted to drive it. That sounds like a great gift. My fave was Barbie Penthouse, my doll threw the best parties LOL
ReplyDeleteOh those push peddle cars were so cool. I didn't have one, but I did get to play on one sometimes. My favorite was a roller skating doll - battery operated. I don't remember her name:)
ReplyDeleteI would have paid to take it for a spin!
ReplyDeleteYou must have had tons of fun riding and riding and riding some more :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's always a special memory attached to at least one childhood toy...
ReplyDeleteVery cool. My inner child is green with envy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an awesome ride. I had some kicka*s roller skates.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome gift! That would've been a blast to have.
