My favourite movie genre would definitely have to be :
Science Fiction/Horror
My favourite genre in Music, now this is hard to pinpoint as I am drawn to a wide variety of genres, from Hard Rock, Punk to Indie.
I suppose I would have to say Alternate Rock,
(some might call it nu-metal),
as my favourite bands are:
Lincoln Park
Incubus
Breaking Benjamin
Anberlyn
Paramore
Evanescene
The list could just keep going,
but I think you will have an understanding about the music I like.
My favourite genre in Book/s:
Well this question is easy, I love Paranormal Romance.
My office wall is lined with black covers, sporting Old English fonts to mark their titles.
Having to say which series is my favourite would be challenging, but if I was honest,
I suppose I would have to say :
The Twilight Series

A close second would be
The Hithicker's Guide to the Galaxy

Douglas Adams

I'm come across a few people this morning who love rock music. Haven't read any paranormal romance. It might be time to try something different. I know I have one of yours.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm a little jealous that I don't have tickets to that show. It sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteSoundwave sounds like a great show! Some of those bands I didn't even know were still around. I'd love to see Linkin Park's new stuff. Metallica was my first concert. Great show!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much into Sci/Fi, Carolyn. But I found out that my sister was when she sat glued to the TV one afternoon watching Alien vs. Predator. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, you have such courage to post a trailer for a terrible movie like AVP. However, I respect that you enjoyed it. Great stuff.

ReplyDeleteHi, Carolyn. It's all about the music with me, too. I may be in my early 40's now, but I pride myself in keeping an open mind about new rock. A friend of mine recently turned me on to Incubus. I'll have to check out some of those other bands that you listed. Congrats on the concert!
ReplyDeleteTake care.

I enjoy the Twilight film series but I will never read the books. I dislike horror films -- they make me have nightmares.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, Twilight ... we lived it during my daughter's early teen years. Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an awesome concert, and in one of the loveliest cities in the world! There is definitely something appealing about live concerts, where hordes of like-minded people gather to hear their favourite artistes in person.
